What you can do in Slack
Instant notifications
Get notified when someone requests time off, gets assigned to a project, or @mentions you.
One-click approvals
Approve or reject time-off and project hours requests directly from Slack messages — no need to open the app.

/supervisible timeoff— Request time off with a Slack modal that lets you pick dates, type, and reason/supervisible status— Check your pending requests, upcoming time off, and current projects

Map Slack channels to projects for team-wide updates and notifications.
Setup
Setup takes just a few minutes. You'll need to be an org admin.
1. Install
Go to Settings → Integrations in Supervisible and click Add to Slack. This will open the Slack authorization flow.
2. Auto-match users
Users are automatically matched by email — no manual linking for most teams. If someone's Slack email doesn't match their Supervisible email, an admin can link them manually.
3. Configure notifications
Each person can choose which notifications reach Slack, email, or in-app — per notification type. Go to Settings → Notifications to configure your preferences.
4. Map channels (optional)
Map Slack channels to projects so that team-wide project notifications (e.g., new assignments, time-off bookings) are posted to the relevant channel.
Notification types

| Time off request | Someone on your team requests time off |
| Time off approved | Your time-off request was approved |
| Time off rejected | Your time-off request was rejected |
| Time off booked | Someone booked approved time off on a project you manage |
| Project hours request | Someone requests additional project hours |
| Project assignment | You were assigned to a project |
| Comment mention | Someone @mentioned you in a comment |

- Supervisible only accesses data necessary to provide the integration features you've enabled
- We do not read or store the content of messages beyond what is required to process Supervisible-specific commands and notifications
