Notification Preferences
Each user controls their own notification channels from Settings -> Notifications.
Channels
| Channel | Behavior |
|---|---|
| In-app | Creates Inbox notifications and unread counts. |
| Sends transactional email for enabled notification types. | |
| Slack | Sends Slack DMs when Slack is installed and your Slack user is linked. |
Notification Types
You can configure channels for:
- Weekly time-off summary.
- Time-off requests.
- Time-off approved.
- Time-off not approved.
- Time-off booked.
- Project-hour requests.
- Comments.
- Project assignments.
- Weekly digest.
- Project updates.
- Date changes.
- Status reminders.
Some notification types are admin-oriented. If a type does not apply to your role, enabling it may have no visible effect until you have the matching responsibility.
Bulk Channel Toggles
The settings page can turn all notifications for a selected channel on or off. Use this when setting up Slack DMs or reducing email noise.
