Project Collaboration
Project collaboration in Supervisible is tied to operational data. Activity, assignment comments, subscriptions, and Slack channel mapping all point back to real projects and assignments.
Assignment Comments
Comments live on project assignment context and can mention teammates. Comment notifications can be delivered to Inbox, email, or Slack based on each user's notification settings.
Use assignment comments for specific workload notes, blockers, or handoffs. These comments are separate from project Activity comments.
Project Activity
Activity combines structured health updates, project-wide comments, one-level conversations on either authored post type, and automatic project changes. Updates are useful for weekly reporting; comments and replies support lighter conversation without changing health.

Subscriptions
The project notification bell lets a user choose their personal subscription for a project. Personal event choices are per project and separate from the user's global channel preferences.
Personal project events include:
- Project updates.
- Date changes.
- Status changes.
- Health that needs attention.
Channels depend on the user's notification preferences. Turning off a channel globally stops delivery through that channel even if a project event is selected.
Target date reminders are not personal project subscriptions. Organization owners, admins, and managers are included for every Active project; project managers and account managers are included for the projects they manage. Inbox, email, and available Slack DM delivery begin enabled, and each person can turn those methods off independently in notification preferences.
Slack Channels
Admins, owners, PMs, or account managers with Slack connected can map one Slack channel to a project. The setup flow asks Slack for an incoming webhook for the selected channel, then Supervisible keeps that channel as the project's shared destination.
Shared channel events are managed separately from personal subscriptions. A project channel can receive project updates, date changes, status changes, team changes, and target date reminders. The first connection enables the recommended set: project updates, date changes, and status changes. You can turn all project-channel messages off without disconnecting the channel, or disconnect the channel entirely.
Slack project notifications skip completed and cancelled projects, except for the final status change that marks a project completed or cancelled.
Link Previews
When Slack is installed, Supervisible links to projects, clients, and users can unfurl into richer work objects. This gives people context without opening the app for every reference.
