Navigation and Search
Supervisible has two primary navigation surfaces: the sidebar for product areas and the command menu for search and actions.
Sidebar
The sidebar is grouped by workflow:
| Group | Items |
|---|---|
| Personal | Inbox, Home |
| Team | Workload, Members, Time Off |
| Projects | Command Center, Clients, Projects |
| Settings | Account, People & Teams, Administration |
Some items are hidden when the workspace or user role cannot access them. For example, Command Center is admin-only and freelancer workspaces do not use team-wide planning views.
Command Menu
Open the command menu with Cmd K. Search returns projects, clients, team members, and time-off records. Project results include client context, project IDs, and client logos when available, so similarly named projects are easier to tell apart. It is designed to return common results quickly, with broader results when needed.
When no query is entered, the command menu can show page actions, recent items, quick actions, navigation, help, and account commands. When you search, Supervisible combines matching records and matching commands into one quick-results list, then opens the highlighted row with Enter.
Quick Actions
Use the sidebar New button or Shift N for quick actions. Available actions depend on your role:
- Create client.
- Create project.
- Invite team member.
- Book time off.
- Request project hours.
Keyboard Shortcuts
Open the shortcut guide with ?. The guide updates with the current page and active controls, so page-specific actions only appear where they can run.
Navigation Shortcuts
| Shortcut | Destination |
|---|---|
| G M | My Workload |
| G W | Team Workload |
| G C | Clients |
| G T | Team |
| G P | Projects |
| G X | Time Off |
| G S | Settings |
Display Options
Most list and table views include search, filters, sorting, grouping, and display properties. Display preferences are saved per view in your browser, so a team member can keep a dense operations layout while another user keeps a simpler view.
Examples:
- Projects can be filtered by status, priority, client, PM, account manager, team member, team, health, and capability.
- Clients can be filtered by status, category, country, and account manager.
- Workload can be grouped by team, capability, or language and viewed weekly or monthly from the toolbar.
- Activity can be filtered by user, action, entity, and date range.
Dense lists also use hover and keyboard-focus previews for records such as clients, projects, and people. These previews show enough context to scan without leaving the current table.
