Project Updates
Project updates are delivery check-ins attached to a project. They help the team understand what changed, whether the project is healthy, and who needs to act.
Health Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
On Track | Delivery is progressing as expected. |
Needs Attention | Something needs review, a decision, or a small adjustment. |
Understaffed | The project needs more capacity, a PM, or missing capability coverage. |
Off Track | A material issue needs immediate attention. |
Posting an Update
Post an update when:
- A weekly status review happens.
- A project health value changes.
- Dates or staffing change materially.
- A risk becomes visible.
- A decision needs to be recorded for the team.
Good updates are short and specific: what changed, what it means, and what action is needed.
Notifications
When a new update is posted, Supervisible can notify subscribed users in Inbox, email, and Slack. Project channel notifications can also post to a mapped Slack channel.
The project status nudge system can remind responsible users when a project has gone stale and needs a fresh update.
Feed and Activity
Updates appear in the project update feed and contribute to project activity context. Use the feed when you need to understand the sequence of decisions or status changes.
