Team Views
Team time-off views help managers and operations plan around absences.
Pulse
Pulse is the default time-off view. It loads a focused window around the current date and is designed for quick review of current and upcoming absences.
Use Pulse to:
- See who is out soon.
- Search team members.
- Filter by status or type.
- Open the inspector for a person or request.
- Review pending, approved, and rejected requests.
Timeline
Timeline shows a multi-year horizontal view. It is useful for planning longer project windows and spotting overlapping absences across people.
Timeline preloads the previous, current, and next year so navigation is smooth and the client can reuse cached data.
Time-off bars and public-holiday markers expose focusable previews with request type, date range, duration, and availability impact. If a row has more requests than fit, open the overflow list and press Esc to close it.
Year
Year view is a calendar-style annual view. It shows approved and requested time off across the selected year and includes public holidays when configured.
Use Year when you need a compact annual picture, not a detailed request queue.
Use the arrow buttons or Left Arrow and Right Arrow to move between years. When a request detail modal contains multiple requests, the same arrow shortcuts move between the previous and next request.
Overview
The manager/admin Overview summarizes each user's allowed, taken, pending, approved, remaining, and sick-day totals.
Users without overview access are sent back to the Pulse view.
Privacy
Sensitive time-off types still affect availability, but details can be hidden from people who should not see them. Admins and owners can see more request detail than regular colleagues.
