Google Calendar
Google Calendar is a personal connected account. Each user connects their own calendar from Settings -> Connected Accounts.
What Sync Does
When connected, Supervisible can:
- Create OOO events for approved full-day time-off requests.
- Use the user's Google Calendar timezone.
- Create private generic events for sensitive time-off types.
- Store the calendar event ID on the request for future cleanup.
- Delete OOO events when the related request is deleted.
- Backfill future approved requests after connection.
What Sync Does Not Do
- It does not create calendar events for part-time requests.
- It does not connect one admin's calendar for everyone.
- It does not continue syncing after the user disconnects or Google revokes access.
Connecting
- Go to Settings -> Connected Accounts.
- Choose Google Calendar.
- Complete the Google OAuth flow.
- Review existing future approved requests after connection.
Disconnecting
Disconnecting removes the Google Calendar connection from Supervisible and asks Google to revoke access. Future approved requests will not create OOO events until the account is connected again.
